9.5 fronts for the road will result in serious tracking issues. Be fine for the track but not so good on public roads methinks :) However on track with a rear wheel drive car it's preferable to have wider rears to help balance heat uptake between the front and rears.

The off set should be 30 (I think that should be OK)....could you explain why the tracking would be a problem? (would it keep getting knocked out or sum thing,or jut hard to track)?

hasnt jaffa got 9.5" up front. the only problem i could think of is the steering will be heavier and you will have to fight with it to get around bends.

Yes it did read a bit like that didn't it :) No what i mean is the front will ''track' road imperfections like white lines etc or a bit of camber.

What i might of forgot to mention i wanted to get d2 brake will they conflict with them?

they look all most like rota ik-r wheels ... but not gt-r

first pic looks like a copy of the GR-r's

I'm running 9.5" Grids up front on a +20 offset on a 255/35/18.

Lowered 50-60mm, no tracking issues.

I have D2 356's behind them and you could fit your fist in the gap between the spoke an the caliper.

Pictures can be provided tomorrow if needed.

the white one has vordestein or whatever they're called, copies of volk TE-37

265's on the back

The arch lip needed flattening on the inside to make this work without eating the sidewall on bumps.

et20 back and front.

Easily a grand including tyres. (Falken 452's)

was you size of the hole 114 ?

114.3mm or 4.5", it's a yank PCD

did you get 9.5's at front and back?

9.5's front and back, just different tyres

Afraid not, it doesn't get much spotlight.

Also fitting required spigot rings, though I'm unsure what size they were.

Were you not tempted to go for 10.5 on the back with a +35 (or so) offset?

Not really I just eyed everything up and guessed. I think i was quite lucky.

Knowing what I do now I'd get wider rears.

Next time around for the back I was thinking ~12" wide banded steels, zero offset and a 300+ tyre.

You do have to be careful as you have to bear in mind the upper arm on the zx hitting in the front. as with a very wide rim and the wrong offset you will either have the rim or tyre hit... with a 9.5 inch wide 18 you will need around a +15 to +20 offset...

This calculator is simple and will help you know what will work... also remember you have to clear the brake calipers so may need spacers if you go for the wrong shape wheel, regardless of offset.
