I took these on my phone when I got home yesterday after having my new coilovers fitted.....

.....To say I am very pleased with them is an understatement!! They have transformed the car; Thanks Jerrick, you're a star trader mate!!!

CHeers buddy - I went for the Zeta S......

I do mate - the car feels much more planted and secure on the road. I did think the ride was a bit harsh at first, but the garage set them at "22 clicks" from soft; I have since turned that back to 12 clicks from the softest setting and it's a better compromise I reckon!

All in all, very good - especially considering Jerrick's special price offer! It came to £606 delivered; including credit card charge and the remote adjuster cables for the rear shocks. I then paid DS Automotives (Japanese car specialists) in Aylesbury £350 inc VAT and a full 4-wheel allignment set-up to fit and fettle them...

Looking good Richard, a set of concentric spacers on the front and she will look perfect.

Alz.

Looks great Richard.

Just need to replace the window trim on the drivers door to finish it off.

Hey Phil - good to hear from you mate!!

As you can see, I'm certainly looking after it...!! You're right about the door trim - I haven't got round to replacing that yet and I still need to sort those scratches on the driver's door window. But when the weekends are dry and sunny, I'm too busy driving it (or cleaning it LOL).... Got to 82,800 miles now...

Looks fantastic Richard, really sets your Z off

Looking gorgeous Richard. I don't think I have ever seen a proper pic of your Z until now to appreciate it :)

I'm very pleased with Meister R's too.... Does it feel better to drive too?

They are worth making that extra big hole in the boot plastics to be able to get at the adjustment in the rear I think - since most rear plastics are cut for a rear strut brace anyway.

Thanks Rose; there are a couple of pics in "My Rides" now that Lee has fixed it.....:winkiss:

It does indeed feel better on the road now - I did turn down the hardness yesterday as I initially thought it was a bit too firm, but it's fine now. The car feels more connected to the road....

.....as for the rear adjusters, there's no need to make a big hole in the boot plastics. MeisterR also does some sturdy wire extenders which screw onto the adjuster knobs on top of the rear struts; you then drill a small hole in the boot trim, feed it through and fix the new adjuster knob on top. So you just have a little adjuster knob sitting atop the boot trim. Nice and tidy - I think they are about £25 extra...

Top tip, I think I'll be going for that then :)

EDIT: unfortunately, your site won't allow me to give you a good rep for that until I've spread other rep around... good or bad, I don't know yet :p

I would have taken a pic of them, but the garage didn't do the tidiest job on that bit - I had already arrived to collect the car and it was Friday afternoon...!! But I can sort that myself later - I'll get some nice washers to line the holes and trim the wires so the knobs are flush. Shouldn't take me more than 1/2 hour.

That looks bloody lovely Richard... Fine job sir. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh one day. I taxed mine yesterday and got it out of the garage for the first time this year, great fun!

Alz.

I'd go for hub centric spacers Al, concentric spacers may lead to some vibration issues!! :scooter:

The stance looks so much better Rich:thumbup1:so is it lower now or can you adjust it up or down or just make it hard or soft? sorry mate I know so little about uprated suspension's.

Thanks matey.....:thumbup1:

You can adjust both - the ride height can be reset higher or lower by fiddling with the locking rings (although I'm not going to play with that myself) and each strut has a "soft to hard" dial; so you can adjust the ride quality to suit!

The MeisterRs are a superb upgrade, and with Jerrick's special offer of £100 off they were good value also!
