I've been waiting for a dry day without having to defrost to bring the new zed in and give it a good long run and walked out the front door this morning to find no frost or ice on the car, grabbed the keys and set off.

It's a good 29-30 mile commute in with a bit of stop start traffic. The car didn't bat an eyelid, perfect temp and oil pressure all the way in. I behaved myself as the prob is a bit wobbly and kept it below 60 most of the way but got to the last long 3 mile straight and some mazda 6 ts decided to try and undertake me so i dropped a cog and demolished him :)

I love it - back in a decent driveable zed for the first time in ages

It's good to be back! :D Now roll on the shows and the drag racing!

I make a rule NOT to commute EVERY day in it otherwise it takes the magic out of it - i found that after a week driving the silver one.

One day a week is enough for me - especially with the price of petrol :)

nice mate. I took the zed into work yesterday as ironically she had more fuel in her than the scoob.... The kids loved it... and an annoying woman at work reckons i must have a tiny willy now.... I didn't want to tell her she was right!

The old zeds... they do just put a smile on your face.

LOL!-I'm the opposite,use the Z every day and hate it!-my poor alloys....:crying:
