As have a few others. How do you get it to look like this without rubbing.

 

Do you remove the wheel arch liner? if so whats behind that can collect crap and rust etc. or would you just waxoil all behind it??

 

More pics would be cool if you have any :)

well thats andy car isnt it hopefully he will be able to answer but ive been wondering this also as even at my ride height not that low it rubs on high speed corners.

yeah its andys. My rubs on full lock with the new alloys so if i space them out it will rub more.

Mine are spaced out by 25mm at the front and no rubbing but its not lowered I would like to lower it but would hate to spend a lot of money to have it look good but the tyers rubbing so good question Dave

anymore info lol!!! what about the plastic arch liner?

Mine rubs like Fook, 1 of the jobs i need to do is remove the liner and hopefully that will fix it, but yeh... I reckon lace it in waxoyle...... or petrol and diesel the Welsh way :)

Hi Bud,

 

That did look good but rubbed occasionally (arch liner screw heads)so I changed the 25mm spacers for 20mm but I can't remember the offset of the rims!

 

A little trick I did was to gently bend back the tabs that the arch liner screws go into. You can also take 1mm off the heads of the screws. This doesn't sound like much but it helps.

 

Word of warning though - you may crack the paint on the thin edge of the arch if you don't heat up paint as you do it. Also you may crack it and not realise so apply a little clear lacquer on the edge for good measure.

Yeah ive done the tabs on mine, mine is rubbing on the front of the arch liner so i know if i space my alloys it will rub like a :censored:

My slicky is ok like this but with my old springs on it sat slightly lower and rubbed like hell!!
