IM sure they were 37K in brittain and im sure there was an option list that brought it over the 40k Im sure someone will come along with the right answer

Yes i believed about the same, something like £34,695 but after a wee while done a price drop of around 1-2K or sumitt.

My price has all the extras. Aircon was a massive £1200 :shock:

 

Met Paint, leather, electric seats, Abs lol! cruise control and Autos were more aswell.

if that is the case, my zed has leather,electric seats,climate control,autobox abs twin turbo,somebody is japan spent alot of money when they orderd my car the only box that wasnt ticked was metalic paint,lol

The prices went down towards the end of their UK production as Nissan tried to shift them out of the showrooms; hence they represented good value in the day when compared to the Mk4 Soop, Mitsi 3000GT and Pork 968.

 

I have the WhatCar magazine article pitting them against each other, when the Soop came on the market - it was the October 1993 edition.

 

The 300zx weighed in at £33,230 with leather and CD; compared to the Soop at £37,500; 3000GT at £38,329 and Pork 968 at £36,722 (no extras in that price!)

 

Performance stats as tested by WhatCar (if you're interested) were:

 

0-60: 300zx = 5.6; 3000GT = 5.8; Supra = 5.1; Porsche = 6.1

 

0-100: 300zx = 14.5; 3000gt = 16.1; Supra = 12.3; Porsche = 15.7

 

All top out at between 153 & 155mph; with only the ZX and Supra being limited.

that supras quick to 100. would pee on a zed then stock for stock.

 

Runs 11psi stock, instead of 9. They set it higher from factory to make sure it beat the 300zx.

Yup - the 300zx was the car which sent Toyota's engineers back to the drawing board to re-design the new Supra. The Z32 was a tough act to beat, which was why the Mk4 Supra didn't finally appear on the market until late 2003 - when the ZX was in it's final months on sale here....

nissin set out to prduce a world beating sports car and they did,with the z32,it was regocnized through out the motoring press all over the world as the best sports car against all of the opposition at the time

I remember being offered 2k deposit on my skateboard at the Datsun dealership in stafford

as the dealer said he was struggling to sell.
