OK so just started work on the TT engine to drop into my hillclimber done the ERG delete now doing the water bypass, got the stainless manifolds to go on.....anthing else I should do while its on the stand out of the car????? oh and has anyone got a single piece prop SWB manual? and a 1.5 or 2 way diff

Do the rocker seals if you have the time, and clear the oil and water pipes. Replace any small water pipesat the back.

Ditch the stainless manifolds because they will crack in time.Get some Ams or Mike Smith cast manifolds.

Are they an improvement over stock Jimmer?

 

Ams/Mike smith are vast improvement over stock mate.

Yep but how much gain depends on the brand and of course that then determines he quality of them lasting as they (stainless ones) are very prone to cracking.

ok PRVR, AIVR, EGR deletes and water bypass all done and throttle body hose and pipe delete done new crank seals done .....all new silicon hoses arrived, gaskets, plugs, oil filter, electronic boost control .... engine ready to paint then its all go to get the na out and the new TT lump in ....anybody got some BOVs for sale????
