I posted a message the other night (a few threads down) asking what sort of price I may be able to get for my Z if I decide to sell her. I know it's subject to many factors, but can't anyone here in the know inform me of a ballpark figure? I need to make the decision quick, cause if she goes then I have to organise another in time for the Trax event.

 

Thanks to those of you who responded with valuable info on the differences... all your comments have edged me further in the direction. Mine really is an absolute dream.. but if she can bring me back a good price then I'll go for it. There's 2k worth of audio in there so surely that must help... but if not, it could be taken out and replaced with cheaper stuff.

All I need is a figure to work from.

You could check autotrader,etc and see if you find a similar car or you can go to a few car-dealers here and there and ask what they think the car is worth..

But I think you need to be prepared to be dissapointed though..

Eric is right, it's a lovely car but just to give you an idea. My Brother owns a Renault Alpine GTA-V6 which has the nastiest sound setup in the world. About 6500 squids worth to be accurate and his car isn't worth much more than book price.

 

It's a shame because people spend so much on their cars and never recover anywhere near what they've spent.

 

Just looking at it though, you should get more than book. Try advertising it on www.findit.co.uk or www.quidsin.co.uk(North West).

 

It's free advertising so you've got nothing to lose matey. On the findit site you can put pics up aswell, hope this helps you a little.

I know it would be a bit of work/expense but what about buying a TT then swopping the bumpers, wheels etc over. It does seem a shame to get rid of such a nice example.

i believe that in august the import laws are going to change (im not sure exactly how) but basically i think the value of imports and uk ones will increase as they will be more expensive to bring in by the tune of about 2500 squid!!!
