Someone or something upset you?

Yes - please do tell mate.

If there's something I can sort for you - or you don't want to discuss it on the open forums please e-mail me on richardsmith@300zx.co.uk

I don't want anyone feeling they are not welcome on here, for any reasons.

Unfortunately mate, it's the same rule for everyone, non subbed members cannot sell items. It was not too long ago that one of the founder members of the site (his name escapes me at the moment) he put his car up for sale, and it was taken down as he was only registered. It would be a nightmare for the mods if we said well we will let this one get away with it, but this one not, hope you know where I'm coming from. It would be the same for me as a mod, or any other mod or committee member mate, it wasn't just because it was you.

Please reconsider subscribing, we would be sorry to lose you.

If the thread hadn't have been bumped it would still be open now, fact. My for sale ads were up for a whole month when I was just a registered user after my subs run out. I agree the rule has to be enforced though. But the thing that makes me laugh is that your not allowed to sell yet your ad is still there showing all that its for sale whether you can post in it or not. So bit of a pointless rule really

:ban: LOL :tt2:

TBH mate,I couldn't give a toss!:tt2:

Sorry everyone, but "rules is rules" and it's the same for everyone!

The original for sale thread was simply closed when it could just as easily have been deleted.

If you want to sell then you must be a subbed member - and that includes links to your "for sale" ads as well. I fully realize that the ad was placed when Manta was a subbed member, and was left to run for some time after his sub expired.

But we apply the same rules to everyone - as said before, even a founder member was prevented from selling because his sub had expired.

I'm closing this thread now - please PM or e-mail me if anyone has anything to say about it. Thanks.
