just wondering if anyone has had similar issues, was driving home from work at midnight last night, put my foot down to overtake some idiot doing 40 in a 60 and when i took my foot off the throttle, the throttle stayed where it was and the zed carried on accelerating!!!

managed to get it into neutral and get it to the side of the road before anything worse happened, got the torch out and lifted the bonnet and on of the metal pipes that comes out of the rocker cover had moved out and wedged against the throttle body!!

pushed it back in and got the car home, was just a really strange thing to happen, had i not been on a straight road could have ended badly...

The issue of that pipe is wildly known and this now acts as a refresher, so peeps go out and check yours does not slide easily eh.

no harm done had to pull the plenum again today anyway so have gone over all of them and sealed them with a bit of lock-tight.
