hi just noticed this today, ive got a 91 jap n/a and when i press the break pedal with the ignition off and the key out the rear break lights light up is this normal or have i got a fault ??? :wacko:

I`m sure this is normal mate, as long as they still work with the key in and ignition on aswell

I'm sure this is common to most cars. Probably a safety feature or such like. As a zed owner, you should learn never to worry if something is working - just be thankful! LOL

I have just tried mine, I pressed the brake pedal and then got out and ran to the back to look and mine don't work, tried it a few times and each time the same result rofl1smiley.gif

Mine does the same. UK model 1992, (manual turbo) Have been told this is normal,

can't say I'm convinced mind.

Still, as Leo-r32gts said, maybe a safety thing.
