Right then.. Engine is out if my zed, as is half the loom, the battery, the battery terminals erc...

 

How do i get the ELECTRIC drivers seat to go forward to get it out???

 

Got the front 2 nuts off, but the back 2 are undee the seat!!!

Lol yep have to admit I did the same as you jai, took the engine out realised I left the window down, as jai said battery direct to the wires if the chair goes the wrong way, reverse the connection in the battery

Sure I just put the battery back onto the car, IIRC the wire that goes to the terminal splits into 2 one for the starter and one for everything else? (just to the left of the brake master cylinder).

As said above the battery back on should work as I am sure the feed to the seats is permanent live.

 

And it does help Jim if the battery as some juice in it :whistling:

look at the thick cable on the seat connector you can work it out which one should be live and earth think its a white wire if i can remember run a 12v cable and earth and power it up
