Having my front bumper done, defo going all one colour and losing the grey strip. I'm still undecided about what to do with the jdm parking mast.

I had made up my mind to smooth it but now thinking i should keep it due to its rareity/quirkyness. Wadda ya reckon?

It functions perfectly btw.

Mmmm, difficult one, I've never seen one but I know what you mean about rareity/quirkyness, can you leave it in place and then smooth over it, that way it can be restored at a later date, but disconnect the switch as it may burst out from underneath the paintwork, like Mikey beans erection when he sees a fat bird ;)

Unfortunately for mikey I haven't got one of it erect!!

Get rid its horrible. my mothers FTO also has one. I saw a guy in a 4x4 the otherday and he had made his own

He rammed so wood into his plastic bumper and used duct tape higher up to keep it straight then stuck some sponge on top so he could see the end :lol::lol:

I suppose i could delete it and if i miss it i could try the 4x4 approach :1eye:

Functions perfectly you say but that aside it's not nice on the eye.

Bit like someone you see on TV with a dark mole and you think why have you not removed that

Think it's got to go. More I look at it the more it detracts from the smooth and subtle look i'm going for.

I like its quirkiness though!! What to do?? Think i'll delete it but make a note of the hole diameter. Then I can always replace it at a later date.

if your spraying a front bumper. get a 2nd hand bumper and spray that one.. then if you dont like it you can swap it back.

you can also have a summer and winter bumper for stone chips

Good idea. A bit late though, i dropped the car off yesterday lol. It's being re done because of stone chips!!!

If i had more money i'd go 99spec. Can't even afford fog ducts at the mo.

lol, ive never seen one before and have to say it looks a bit silly, do you have one for the back too or just use the ariel?

I also think it spoils the smooth look - forget the quirky aspect; the car looks better without!!

Looking at it again and having a think, Get rid, Richards right
