Right, I knew zelda years ago after she was put together by pete (PPS) and as those older ones here know his work was second to none. I saw zelda and thought wow, the car is so nice and IMO everything looked spot on. I didn't even mind the big spoiler, the back lights at the time were 3 rings type of thing if that makes sence.

 

Anyway, to cut a long story short I've just been Reading the for sale advert, she's still a lovely motor but I don't think it's as nice as it was before (I have pitures somewhere). The 99 spec rear lights are nice but I gotta say I liked the old ones (only on her) better. I also thinkthe newer wheels look too big and leaves the stance a but off for me.

 

I'd like to be clear here, I'm in no way pitting the seller down when I say this but I done get why he is stating...

Well here we have the result of my personal project which has taken almost 2 years to complete.

I don't get what he did apart from change the lights and wheels which could have even been done before he bought it.

 

Am I completely missing something here???

 

I like the fact he's putting it up for sale at a high price mind but I have to think it'll never sell for that price especially when jays comes up on the same page and looks oh so pretty... I would buy jays for the other half if I had the money for sure providing nowt was wrong with it etc.

 

I'm not that opiniated normally but felt the need on this occasion.

So from the listing, doesnt say about engine mods, doesnt say about power out put, no mention of BHP, no engine bay picture, el cheepo ebay alloys

 

and the guy wants 15k for it? as far as i can tell (now don't jump down my throat on this one as i know nothing of the car from previous posts) but going on what the ebay add says, its a bog standard engine with a wide ass kit on it, high level spoiler and an interior change.

 

im finding it hard to work out how its worth 15k?

 

it does look nice, but there are just as good examples out there that are going for a lot less.

I think Jays is stunning and is an absolute bargain. The wheels on Zelda are not to my taste but it is still a very desirable Zed. Good luck to him at that price, he can always come down.

Yes Lee the guy as known by many on here and am sure elsewhere, seems to be simply chancing his luck by making a couple minor changes (albeit worse or better) and charging the earth for them, like many garages really.

Seems he is a banned member but I don't get why the link should be removed for purpose of this thread. It wouldnt really help him sell it surely. If grooved or a mod can confirm the link to eBay is against the aup or whatever then I can add the photos??

By all means posting pics of the car is fine as long as there are no company logo or specific link to the sale of the car.
