gents has anyone fitted some some to there zed?

or have an idea of what might fit? maybe ones from the z350 if they have any

the reason why is i think the stones flying up from the road damages your arches and the rust then starts, having a plastic liner would really help i think

WWW yeah please if you can have a quick look underneath and see if you think they can be doctored to fit would be great

Had a few holes in mine too but all done now, just need a plastic wheelarch liner to protect it :)

I don't see it as a worthwhile task. It's not like the front where there are lots of important components/structure to cover up with the inner arches. IMO just give it a good clean up, reprotect with stone chip and periodically inspect and reprotect as required. It's also beneficial to fill up the area with cavity wax from the inside, especially the bottom corners under the bumper to keep a common area for corrosion at bay.

If you do manage to doctor a set to fit, it could be counter productive as you may end up holding moisture/debris in the places you were trying to protect but can no longer see them to take action.

Arches rust from the inside out anyway - condensation between spot welds etc rather than from chips.

Its only been twelve years.. lol. I have recently bought a Z32, and while driving it home, the first thing i noticed was all the noise in the cab from stones etc bouncing off the inner rear wheel arches. Inner wheel arch protection was my line of thought too. Has any of you found a way to remedy this issue? What did you do?

LOL - always good to bring up an old thread...!

But no, not to my knowledge.... And just out of interest, was your journey home entirely on unmade gravel tracks? I have never experienced the problem of such noise on normal roads, even on the UK's broken surfaces!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Lol, no not ALL the way home. Some side roads, car parks are loud. I'll find a way to quiet it down and protect the inner arch. Maybe some felt type material like on my other car.
