So close mate!

Not me, but my ex quite a few years ago had 5 numbers with a few work colleagues, they should have had a few grand each, but unfortunately it was the week where every man and his dog had the right numbers and they got a few hundred each. The lottery is as frustrating as ebay auctions.

years ago we got 5 numbers on a works syndicate - we were all planning our early retirement

IIRC it was about £1500 winings between 20 odd of us!!! :blushing:

last year I got just over £100 for 4 numbers & a few tenners all within a couple of months

LOL! am pretty sure I am quite a bit down in the grand scheme of things!!

Bugger all because I don't play it. My dad's syndicate won around £10k once...but my mate from school actually won the jackpot back around 1999/2000, well it was his parents and we were 17 at the time. £1.3 million big ones from a lucky dip :thumbup1:

I've got it on DD because I'm a paranoid sod and have convinced myself the week I don't put my numbers on I'll win  happened to my dad, missed out on a 5 number draw. Anyhow this has been weds and sat for the last 2 years..... I've won bugger all :/

last year i had all 6 numbers, but only on two lines. first 3 numbers on the first line then the last 3 on the next line.

Typical get all the numbers and won £20.

Why couldnt the last 3 be 5mm up.

We have had £80.00 once. But get this, friends of ours won £60,000, a few months later the same friends son living in same house won £55,000.

On my own - £96 for 4 numbers.

In a syndicate - my share was £147 for 5 numbers. The sixth number in the draw that week was 26, we had number 25!!

Biggest win on national lottery was £10, biggest win on euro millions was 12.50. ive won more on scratch cards, had £75 from 6 scratch cards in the same day, each one from different shops, and only bought with the winnings of the last scratch card until i stopped winning.

But i once thought id got all 6 numbers, forgot i had grabbed a print out of the winning numbers, got to work, put the tv on and went to the lottery page to display the winning numbers and checked the bloody thing off against the winning number print out ticket id got already.

for a few brief moments, i felt like a lottery 6 number winner. meh!, didnt win anything on the actual ticket lol

At least i know i wont pass out when i do win and get my ticket stolen

actually didn't feel that bad about not winning. just the adrenaline from the suspected win made me all shaky for a bit.

LOL.. very similar thing happened to me...

back in Oz about 30 years ago, the lottery was on slips with carbon paper so you got a copy.

A guy at work used to collect the tickets for everyone and do them all in one go (you can see where this is going).

he took my ticket and money (with everyone's else) and made the payment as usual but after that he waited for the drawer and then use blank ticket with carbon paper to add the winning numbers to my lot...

because I used to do different amounts of lines and he had waited until after the weekend drawer to give us back our tickets, i didn't notice...

Well I thought I'd won.... the feeling is fantastic, i was thinking that all my fanatical troubles had disappeared and I'd be right for life.....

I fell to my knees any put my arms in the air saying... "I've won, I've won".....

took him a good 5 minutes to convince me I hadn't....

the joke kind of back fired on him, everyone in the office was really hard on him....lol.. he felt so bad he bought me a £10 ticket in the national lottery.

I really didn't care because it gave me a taste of what it feels like to win.. (well at least think you've won, can't see how it would feel any different, other than it wouldn't end quite that quick... LOL..)
