I'd have said £2K - £3K too expensive, it's definitely a very nice car, but it's relatively standard, apart from the arches and basic mods that most Z's have. I do like it, but I'd only say it's worth around £4K at the moment tbh. Of course what it looks like underneath and how well it drives is really what defines the price on a car like that, so I dunno. We looked at this for Rose, but it was way to pricey for what appears to have been done with it, hence our trip today.

I thought that belonged to a member here. Someone called LITTLE RED ZED and RED ZED. Do a search here.

Thats a gorgeous looking zed and seems well taken care of with receipts/pics to prove so this zed is only worth 3k? sorry but i dont think so.

No but it looks about 4k to expensive!

I thought it takes that much just to fit and spray the widearch.

think people are assuming its a rot box for some reason... it looks tidy and if its good then surely its worth the cash ?

Well I always thought a really good standard (not rotten and never welded ,average mileage) TT manual would fetch up to 4k, so does the recent engine rebuild and strosek kit justify 2k?

As long as the workmanship is spot on then I'd say it does......easily, especially when you think of the figures to fit the kit paint ect and rebuild the engine.

Suppose it depends on how bad the buyer wants a widebody, Sandy stop looking at LWB's and get a slicky :)

My 2p worth :)

I think its worth it, why not try because whoever comes to view it will knock a little off anyway.

These cars are worth so much more than there up for so why not try it :cool3:

Ive seen some good looking UK specs some on this forum howeevr when you look closer you see the rust and rot i would never buy a UK spec for that reason quite easy to hide stuff with a layer of paint over it.

I'd pay that for it if the kits been fitted correctly and there's no rust on inspection.

Reckon the kits probably about 3k to fit and paint and a normal TT manual can fetch the other 3k.

That said though, there is the odd genuine Zedder who would have had the sills cut out right back to the floor pan and replaced with the last of Nissan's oem ones (£400 a side) and then fitted new arches.

They are around, just gotta ask when looking.

:) worth every penny if its free from tin worm

bit unfair to say its only worth a grand, if its as good in the flesh, then 4 to 4 and a half seems a fair price for a well services maintanied clean example. christ look at what a 100 jap import can be like, no histopry engine knocking on heavens door and still running the standard airbox.

Dunno why people are assuming there will be any rot just because it's a uk, yes theres a higher chance of it but it's certainly not definate, the sills on the uk sandy just broke were solid.

as davy says anyway sandy.... get a shorty !

looking like a lwb again:biggrin:

There is always something wrong with a car for sale, even if the owner doesnt see it. Perfection is something we all want to pay for, but you rarely get it... that beauty in the eye of the beholder trait is trusted by too many sellers. At the end of the day, you look, you know what to look for, you know what pedantic bits you want fixed cost to be fixed, weigh it into the price, then you buy.

My UK is solid too :cool3:
