before i ask yes i used the search ..

 

found loads of post regarding the Sender unit failing but not what i'm going to ask

 

as the OEM sender is like £75>100

 

can a Universal one be used like this ?

as i asume the out put volt should be the same

any one tryed it ?

yeah ok ..

 

i know the thread is different 1/8 BSP

where as the others are 1/8 NPT

but the converter adapters are only £3 to buy

 

and it must work the same on Neg Signal Volt to the dial

and getting a sender to do up to 100psi .. most do anyways

 

just wondered of any one has tried it ?

have done a quick search for one he used but only comes up as a aus'y part only

got the Spec of the sender he used

 

Pressure Sender: 0-80 PSI/5 Bar 1/4-18 NPT

 

Part No: 360-005 Notes: 10-180 Ohms Single Station (for one gauge), Standard Ground

just wondering if its possible to use a 100psi/145psi sender .. its only the max limit of it and still should read around the 180ohms around the 80psi

Hey... sorry mark... yeah, I got one off him but haven't installed it yet..

 

it is slightly different to the Nissan one, he assures me it's the right spec..

The OEM part number is 25070-30P01

 

A bit cheaper over the pond, 100 USD no more I would of thought with the postage which equates to £62, at least you know it will work :wink:

Update:

... they will most likely be about £30 and are for the 300zx, I'll check to confirm the fitment of the plug next week (when I fit it).

if you're desperate you could always go with the one on ebay.

£30 is better than £60 + import tax and the 2 week wait ...

 

would be nice to have as uk supply that works anyways
