you guys are aware that that is the free version and has no where near the functionality of the full version....

yeh, its the hardware that im more worried about at the moment, ill sort the software out soon as i know the hardware will work :-)

i bought my full version (hardware, software and usb to serial) from Danny at DTA who was trading on here

any idea on price please?

cant find the PMs/emails from when i bought it, seem to remember about £300

in april last year Danny posted:

The full (software only) version of our ConZult diagnostic software will work with "most" 3rd party cables and costs £150 for the ZX version. For £275 you'll get the complete ConZult kit including hardware, software, rom reader, user manual and free support.

Sorry Rob, problems with my computer internet connection.

I already have one of those usb to serial leads buddy

Conzult is available from DTA. Unforuntatly the DTA UK is sadly no longer trading, so you would need to buy from the main DTA site - http://www.dta-motorsport.com.

They sell it as a Hardware & Software package 269 euro , or as Software only 139 euro.

Alternative, Nissan Datascan is quite a lot cheaper and is available from http://www.blazt.biz/. Blazt sell hardware and Software, the cable is a lot less bulky than the ebay thing but Datascan work with the generic ebay hardware too. Hardware & software is 66 euro, software only is 28 euro. They also sell a Datalog viewer tool as well.

Personally I feel conzult makes an excellent workshop/garage tool, but Datascan is a better tool for owners.

There are various limited feature free bits of software out there too, which come with that ebay hardware, there not up to much but they allow you to see error codes and some readouts.

Yowser,

In your view then am I better off getting Datascan than Conzult? It's only for home garage fault finding and so on.

Cheers

i have conzults orginal software, but i cant seem to get it activated anymore with the key thats been given to me with the disk. so at the moment, its a bit of a pointless package.

and am i missing something with this ebay advert, it better make the tea and put the kids to bed or i cant understand why the hell it costs so much lol

In my opinion, yes.

Both Conzult and Datascan perform the same main functions.

They will both read Error codes and display the output of all the sensors read by the ECU with datalogging abilities. You can also perform advanced problem finding tests such as adjusting timining and idle, switching off Cylinders..etc

Conzult - is a lot more expensive. It has some additional, but less used features such as Hicas and Aircon Diagnostics.

Datascan - is a lot cheaper. Easier to use and allows you to view all the sensors in a easy to see Analog gauge format while driving. It also has functionality for measuring vehicle Performance(0-60mph...etc) utilising the cars own speed sensor.

Rob, I have one of those connections buddy, I thought it was a bit steep at the price, but because it will "connect almost any device" I thought it would be well worth the money.

Vods and anyone else, I have just downloaded a torrent with conzult shareware, datascan and nissan ODB scan in it, installed fine but not tried it yet, it's 11Mb, so dunno if I can attach it in an email, but can forward on the torrent...
