Im not really here lol, just been working on the Zed but popping in from time to time :)

I've just popped on for the second time today to take a wee look.....

 

.....I have been outside enjoying the sunshine!

 

This morning I went to check out a ZX for sale locally to me on behalf of a new member from Newcastle, to save him from a long drive if the car was crap (it was actually OK!). I've mowed the lawns front and back, then I washed the SLK and Rav-4 (the ZX was washed last Saturday and is still lovely and clean).

 

Now I have 45 minutes to kill before our taxi arrives to take us down to the village centre to a very nice Chinese restaurant. That way we can both enjoy a :pint::pint: or two without having to worry about who's driving home!!

I would have spent the day in my engine bay but knacked me back and had to wuss out :chris:

got the back end as high up as i could. got a big tub of cure rust and painted the whole underneath. started todrop the exhaust so i can polish it all up. but surprise surprise, 2 seized bolts.

 

so i need to cut them off with a hacksaw blade in my hand and its going to take forever :(

 

Then tomorrow the cure rust has dried i will tar the whole under side so she will be mint and should give a bit of extra sound proofing and polish the exhaust :)

cant you get some heat to them dave?

yeah. i should of waited till tomorrow. and got the blower off my old man. but i couldnt wait and rounded one of them :rolleyes:

 

hes comming tomorrow to see abby so i will give it ago and get the molegrips nice and tight :wacko:
