got a job interview tomorrow and im bricking it! it will be a giant leap in payscale and job prospects if i get it and im just hoping i am what they are looking for...:smw:

 

according to the recrutement agency they are very much looking forward to meeting me, but i know i can come across quite ect on first impressions so i have to scream confidence when i go but not cocky..

Mate that is great news to hear they offered you the job.... but a 3 month rolling contract... hmmm not too much security though. Any chance of negotiating a better contract length? If it is a massive payrise, perhaps talk about a 6 or 12 month contract but at a lower rate (as it woudl still be a pay rise)

 

Nice to be in demand though eh?

Good and bad news mate rolling three months contract does not sound good in this climate thers no job security in that.As Pablo says negotiate more to get a better contract.

the trouble is im in a job i have been in for 8 years which is pretty stable tbh. unfortunately i hit my companies pay scale limit 2 years ago with no possibility for progression...

 

this new job albeit being a 3 month contract equates to a 4 pound an hour pay increase which is an extra 15 k a year!!!

 

but if im only there for 3 months and then out on my ear where i would be up shit creek due to the current climate! i might have a word with my current boss and see if he will give me a 3 month unpaid sabbatical
