I think its the sticker reference number.

 

Me thinks some crazy person had some Zed wheels, a few cans of purple paint and a lot of Fender stickers from somewhere. They somehow thought (perhaps one drunken night) that it would be a good idea to combine all three in attempt to make some money somehow.

I mean what's a guitar got to do with a wheel?! It's a horrible design. Purple wheels would likely only work with a black car too. These are nasty. I am disgusted on several different levels! lol

 

You can also clearly see the lines around the sticker (its a squared clear sticker not even a decent one) and like you say, text is missing.. It's true some custom guitar guys are very, very good at doing spray jobs - but seriously? These wheels couldn't be more disgusting :asshole:

aaawwww had i know that it came with a synchronized tremolo i might of put a offer in for these.

Seriously, the guy selling has to be having a joke, he can't seriously expect people to believe that the fender stickers are stencilled on and not just stickers, I mean come on! He's having everyone on, I'm sure of it.

 

He's only ever actually SOLD 3 things on Ebay, all to the same guy, a drum kit, a set of 4 steel wheels and an Escort Van for £700! I smell a fish!
