R33 GTR setup or GTS? I have GTR's on my 300, i have plain brembo discs 324mm i think they are.

r34 gtr brembo's? thats what im fitting next week and im dying to know how good they are, and compared to standard.

according to Jamie at zedworld, the traditional brake upgrade is r34 gtr brembo set up but the more flashy buggers have k sport set up whatever that is,

Well i have R33GTR calipers on my front and they work amazing, my stopping distance is alot less and even with the bigger brakes i still dont have any issues with the ABS locking up. I do still have air in the system, but its a small amount, and once my braided brake lines are fitted i will of course get it taken care of :)

brembos are good m8

had them on a previos motor work good with ebc pads..nevr tryed ay other pads though

that was on a 230bhp honda..dunno if that helps

You can't fit 350z discs with GTR Brembo calipers even though they are the exact same size disc as the GTR. Different offsetts mate.

 

I always found DBA discs to be bob on tbh mate.

I initially sold these brand of discs years ago because they had good reveiws on the GTR forums, here and across in Aussie land.

Not worth the bother mate, pretty much the same.

GTR32 are only tiny bit bigger, so it's GTR33 and 34 only as a decent and bigger improvement

Go for the 4000 series if you can, 6x6 wiperslot. If money is no object then the 5000 series 2 piece floating discs are shit hot!

When I bought my dba 4000 wiperslots I read through a forum full of people complaining about cracked discs... There was an issue with the little return slots as they went all the way to the edge of the disc, creating a stress point and cracking under heavy use. DBA have since modded the slots so they don't go all the way to the edge like this pic:

 

 

These discs are available for a slightly better price on eBay but I would double check with the sellers that they are the revised design:
