Feeling a bit gutted the car sold tonight to a local guy so i will probably see her about [don't you hate that!] So thats the end of an era for me, having spent 23 years owning zeds thats it:sad:

I have pointed the new owner to this site so hopefully the club hasn't lost Silver Streak but gained a new member.

Thanks to every one who has helped me out over the last 9 years:thumbup: you know who you are:cool3::cool3::bow:

Only did 500 miles in the yellow one last year, timeshare? :)

Congrats on the sale......

.....but comiserations on your loss. Still, as said above, once things pick up for you mate then hopefully you'll consider getting another one.

Don't be a stranger to the forums though, you'll always be welcomed - z or no z!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i know il get slaughtered for this but hey, there really are more important things in life than cars and hopefully this is a low for you that will see a rise. i hope everything goes well with your buisness and hopefully you can start to have luxuary items again when your sorted. all the best.

Well I wont slaughter you cos I agree.

its always sad when a favorite car goes but family , health and security in a financial sense are all more important.

Dave is one of the nicest guys in the club that I have met.

I hope all goes well for you mate.

Hopefully you will be back in a Zed one day.

Thanks for all the kind words guys

Matt just drove off in it and i feel quite gutted :crying: why do cars look so good when you are looking at it..... not out of it, cant get my head around that one!

Always thought the way the car looked made me feel to old to drive it, but it looked flippin lush tonight and i hope i have made the right decision on this!!

Off to have a few stellas now to see if it will lift me a little [en-fact having to many of these lately to give me a lift]

So once again thank you for the support and i hope our economy picks up, and we and others in a similar position can get back on our feet and be happy again.

I have a wonderful family and my health is good [i hope] so as been said in above comments that's the most important thing................... i can always buy another car:yes:

Sounds silly. But it feels like seeing an ex-girlfrind with her new man having fun and laughing. It may just be a car and even though you were the one that finished the relationship it still gives you that stomach tug :(

i know exactly how you feel m8

i was gutted when i sold the marble zed AND I STILL AM

its all about money, if i could afford it i would have it back tommorrow

you know when youve had a special car

and you know when youve lost one.

Thanks for all the kind words guys

Sorry for the loss mate, but grats on the sale. kinda seems false saying that lol

But on a more serious note. stop the alcohol at a time of need mate, it might make it seem like its having a "uplifting" effect. but alcohol is a depressant and things can spiral out of control faster than you think when your already in a bad situation.

clam the alcohol and start enjoying life like your a teenager again (i don't mean going out and getting an asbo lol)

But yeah, i know what you mean about watching someone else drive off in your car. even though it was only the MOT tester for me when he did the open road brake test. i still stood there like a meerkat and watching like a hawk to see where he was going with it lol (but she did look lush driving along, first time ive seen someone drive my own zed since owning it so got to see it from a bystanders point)
