lol, a definite no off you then lol. im going off the idea myself too after messing with photoshop a bit. the back end will look better when i get your (car.mad) spoiler on my new bootlid (Thanks Keith 8-) )

Im sensing that you are not a fan then Dave:rofl::rofl:

No not at all the amount of cars i have almost rear ended another car because of these. if the sun hits them there is zero light that comes through them.

I was behind a saxo the other day that coloured them the same as the car and it may as well of not had them on. Saw him later on that night and you could just about see them and i mean just.

If your rear ended with these on your car you are at fault and the insurance will not pay out

It's your car. Do what you want with it. Be a pretty boring place if we all did the same. But as you say you have the benefit of photoshop to hopefully avoid doing something you regret.

i thought about this for mine think it all depends on the look ov the car but im going to givw the 99 spec diy method a go i think

my last zed had the rears tinted and i actually liked it , however the reflectors on the rear brake lights- (the little oval ones that stick out a tad) they were not tinted fully so you could easily see them, i have pics but dunno how to upload them, if you have email ill send you to show you ??

actually just checked the pnly pic i have and its not too clear, but you can at least see what they would look like

if this works

It's up to you mate i would not do it to mine but have to other cars in the past mainly retro cars :)

on a zed no. doesnt look right its over powering all that black. looks best on things like capris sicroccos etc where the standad tail lights look awfull. mine had a light dusting of black which just made the whole lense look a deep cherry red colour and the white bits looked creamy. then laqoured to give it a nice glossy look. this allowed light to penatrate too the rainbow effect edge off the lenses and smartened up the rear. but with a zed those rear lights arnt just there because they have to be there there as part of the design they make that back end what it is imo. so 99s or crystals all the way. oh and as for coloured coded tints, ie painting it blue because your cars blue taht just looks homo.
