I'd say no personally - a "30" grade is too thin for a TT engine when hot.

Best go with a "40" grade to be safe - either a 10w40 or 5w40. Fully synthetic is always better than a semi; branding is a matter of choice; but stick with a good quality well known oil. You need just short of 4 litres with a filter change too......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

isnt it worrying taht theres only like 4 litres of oil in a tt engine. which half a litre of so is in teh filter then theres probally a fair amount in the cooler and then in the oil lines and ways that are everywhere. how much is actually in that sump when running big old lump with very little oil our isnt it. my 2litre pinto held 8 litres.

lol.. it does seen very little.... Mmmmm

30 is a little too thin for my liking too - I have always used Mobil 5W40 or 0W40
