Got nowt to lose by signing I reckon.

Ed Zachery Jane.....

......whilst it is most probably a waste of time, one has nothing to lose by signing.....

Signed, unfortunately it will doubtless do no good. I'm somewhat of a realist, so although I'd much rather have X thousand pounds in my pocket every month with no tax deducted and not have to pay VAT, fuel be the pre-tax price etc. I also realise that Labour screwed the country up royal, inflation is massive right now and we could be a lot worse off (I've been worse off, I've lived in NZ) economy wise and money-in-ya-pocket wise too, so I don't begrudge it that much. Of course it helps that both me and Rose work and earn good money, we've been in much worse situations before, one of us working, neither of us working etc etc etc.

Signed it... but don't think it will do a bit of good. I'm voting with my feet and going from 4 cars down to 1.5 this year.

fact. sucks,,, but it's the only way to get away from CarTax, Gas Tax, Insurance hikes, etc..

Yeah I've been there, left without work, without help etc. We came back to England last February and after our money ran out, we asked the government for help for a few weeks while looking for work (We literally both found work 1 week and 2 weeks later respectively), we were told because we had been out of the country too long, we had given up our right to benefits!

That went down like a lead balloon I can tell you, considering the amount of tax we've both paid over the years, especially since we're both smokers, drinkers and like to drive thirsty cars, forget the fact we are both high earners as well, the amount of tax we paid before we left doesn't count though apparently!

We even went to see the MP, who told us we shouldn't have brought money back with us, bought a car, rented our own house etc, we should have rocked up with nothing at all and stayed in a half way house with our two kids, then asked for council accommodation etc. That was an MPs advice!!!!!

I don't like MPs or the government in general, but if paying more for my fuel, income tax, VAT etc helps make sure my 5 year old son gets the rapid NHS treatment like he got when his fever spiked at 39 degrees in December, then I'll pay it.

not signed as it requires to much infomation :whistling:

LOL. Whilst I thought the idea was good in principal I didn't sign either - and never do with online petitions - for the same reason:innocent:

But well done to those who have - I hope your voices are heard!!
