Bloody hell, hope whoever was in the car fared better than the Zed :pinch:

:clap:A bit of P40 and a touch of paint and you could have a very respectable car indeed.lol

its shocking took mine out today, as soon as i am over like 25 percent on the gas the thing is skidding sideways up the road its shocking!!!!!!!!!!!! scariest car I have ever driven.

tie it to a lamp post drive away. that'll straighten the main chassis. then chop the roof off add a soft top and hey presto a 2nd 2+2 convertible :)

I'm struggling to work out what has happened to that! The front end looks fine, light glass isnt even smashed, same with the rear almost perfect!. Its almost like its been hit in the side, but I'm not sure why the roof has done what its done and why there is weird damage to the drivers side wing attachment.

Been in a very strange accident that one! Almost looks like its maybe gone under the back of a truck?

From the looks of it, I'd hazard a guess it's slid in to a tree given the bark on the passenger side wheel/wing and the nice circuler impact on the door - the tree won.

Ah yeah your right. Must be what happened. Just couldnt work that out last night! LOL

who lost it sideways then.... whoops. hopefully they were ok. surprisng how mangled a car can be and someone walk away preet unscathed

My car tried to do this to me earlier. Straight road, a little greasy I admit, 40mph in 3rd gear, floored it and the car just stepped out (More like jumped up and did a twist), the guy in the golf behind me gave a big grin as I turned right at the roundabout, think he was as shaken as I was because there was oncoming traffic too, could have been REALLY nasty.

It's only been so violent since I put the Mines ECU in. I can literally say that ECU has turned the car from an angry house cat to a pissed off Panther!

A sobering thought: -

Reconstruction of a car hitting a tree at 55 MPH

Sequence of events

1/10th second The front bumper and chromium grill collapse,

Slivers of steel penetrate the tree to a depth of several inches.

2/10ths second The bonnet crumples as it rises, smashing the windscreen. Spinning rear wheels leave the ground.

The radiator disintegrates. The wings come into contact with the tree forcing the rear parts to splay out over the front. The heavy structural members of the car begin to act as a brake on the terrific forward momentum of the car body, but the drivers body continues to move forward at the car’s original speed. This means a force of 20 times gravity - his body weighs 3,200 pounds. His legs ramrod straight, and snap at the knee joints.

3/10ths second The drivers body is now off the seat, his torso straight upright, his broken knees pressing against the dashboard.

The plastic and steel frame of the steering wheel begins to bend under his grip. His head is now near the sun visor, his chest above the steering column.

4/10ths second The car’s first 24 inches have now been completely demolished, but the rear is still travelling at an estimated 35 MPH. The engine block crunches into the tree. The rear end of the car, like a bucking horse rises high enough to scrape bark off the low branches.

5/10ths second The drivers clenched hands bend the steering column into an almost vertical position. The force of gravity impales him on the steering column. Jagged steel drives through his chest, puncturing lungs and intercostal arteries. Blood gushes into his lacerated chest cavity.

6/10ths second So great is the force of the impact, that laced - up shoes are ripped from the drivers feet. The brake pedal shears off at the floor panel. The chassis bends in the middle, shearing the seat belts. The driver’s head smashes through the windscreen, the rear of the car continues its downward fall, with spinning wheels digging into the ground.

7/10ths second The entire disintegrating body of the car is forced out of shape. Doors fly open. In one last convulsion, the seat rams forward, pinning the driver more firmly to the steering column.

BLOOD SPURTS FROM HIS MOUTH.

SHOCK HAS FROZEN HIS HEART.

HE IS NOW DEAD IN 7/10ths SECOND.

Be careful out there.....:oops::oops:
