id think that would do more damage to the boot than it would help to be honest.

not if you pull upwards as you cut at the same time and anyway they always need flatten and prepping after removal

came across this little item for removing the bonding mastic on a foam rear spoiler...might help those in need or also ideal for removing human heads if thats your scene:blink:

I might get one just to have proper handles for my reel of windscreen removal wire. Looks better than the two bits of wood with self tappers in them that I currently use:whistling:

They seem to have used something similar in the removal guide...at least it looked like it...thought it was washing line until now.

I just used man strength once I had some of it free. Yank it hard and true!

yanking it may well work if it is the original 20 year old Nissan adhesive. However if it has been re done with modern stuff like Tiger Seal or Sikaflex then no amount of pulling will remove it. Same with aftermarket ones.

there are two types of wire available. Serrated type and smooth but thin n sharp plain wire. Both need caution in use to avoid damage to car and fingers and nearby arteries!!

:lol: your meant to cut in a steady cutting action, not pull in a steady pulling action
