As did they with the Zed :lol:

But if you need an estate.......

ah it was subaru`s cock up i dont see why car manufacturers create a performance car and then make an estate version of it. Just lowers its class in my eyes its as if they are trying the tackle a bit of all the market rather than excel in one area. Thats what i like about the zeds wasnt no family and dog version as i dont think a 2+2 is practical for a family and you have the choice of 3 litre TT or 3 litre NA keeps it in the sports car category that what i love about them :)

I get;

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 454

Weight without Driver (KG) : 1400

Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 329.49

0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.36

0 - 100 (Secs) : 8.23

60 - 100 (Secs) : 4.87

Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.90

Terminal Speed (MPH) : 120.28

Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.50

Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 124.40

That's a very good 0-100; beats many a super car! Looks like you've squeezed a fair bit extra bhp from your Scoob:surrender:

Although based on that, I'd probably have expected a better 1/4 mile time......:flowers:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

the PE 1420 is not smaller than standard ..its quite a bit bigger and spools up very well .

a pair of those is good for 600+bhp with supporting mods

sorry to revive an old thread .

Not that I am after amazing 0-60s or want to get into drag racing .

I was just curious to find out as I knew she felt quite quick.

timed my Z 0-60 today and got 4.9 seconds ( Private Land )

Little wiggle at the back on launch. Very impressed!!! as I have done nothing to the car . It has after-market exhausts and an apexi Filter

( from what I can see ) Not bad for an auto in my book .

It's called Speedometer pro.......I have it on my Ipad in the Zed.

gave me a 0-60 of around 7 seconds in an N/A Auto. I'm sure on my second run it was quicker but the GPS took longer to start counting up for some reason :(

Peter

apparantly theres an iphone app that measures 0-60 by gps, anyone know wot its called?

I've got one called g-tac but not used it yet!

i tried, run out of petrol lol

Haha!! Sounds about right!!

How fast should a standard twinturbo manual LWB model do 0-60?

Average is about 5.5 secs. I believe Car & Driver magazine achieved the fastest official stock measured time using a SWB TT Manual with 5.0 secs.

my bosses aston martin v8 vantage only does 5.5 so are we saying that a standard zed could be faster than that!, and from his experience my 300's been more reliable!
