One of the worst i've seen mate. The cruncher will be whats under the carpet in the rear. Lift it up after removing the rear seat base and see how far into the middle of the car it goes.

Oh dear, were your drain holes blocked up or something?

That`s just the outside...

wow. thats not good at all...its gonna be cheaper to find a good shell and transfer parts tbh..lee

Hi,hard to tell from photos could do with some close ups.Looks a bit poorly, all i know is Jeff and Jamie sorted my rotten sills and bottom of arches out and the welding was very very good well pleased, im sure its doable its just down to how much.

it can be repaired but will cost a fair bit looking at the pics, all the rust would have to be cut out, then treated and new metal fitted, then resealed and under coated and painted, if you like the car that much then worth doing otherwise replacement shell

i also reckon a 'new' shell mate , seems quite bad :/ even if its fixable depending how the rest is it surely wont be cheap imo.

on the conversion and engine should be around £1200 depends if you want a quick sale or not . and then the rest depends on the goodies you have mate .

tbh mate i very much doubt even the fabricator himself could quote from the pics here. It is quite extensive and he'd be leaving himself open.

On top of that you really do need to lift the carpet, what you see there could be the deciding factor to scrap or repair, sozz

looking at thems pics mate ide start checking scrap prices too:sad: not looking good

I've only ever owned used cars, had 9 cars in my life if my memory works, but have to admit, not even my 1983 VW Polo was that bad, its pretty damn bad. :(

As said-that is worst I have seen!-not helped by the crappy repairs done before!

Prices as they are mate, buy another for what you will make in bits off your old one!

It does look very far gone and don't forgot that that is just what you can see. There will also be rust that you can't see, particularly under the sills.

Its always repairable mate, just depends on how much your willing to spend. You should of seen how bad both sides of mine was.

cut out all the rust and then see how it looks. Me and my mate totally rebuilt both sides of mine and even some of the floor. Everyone said to scrap it but there was no way i was gonna be defeated.

I have seen worse its all repairable have faith !! i will speak to our guy tomorrow.I could not get hold of him today and i / jeff will be in touch

Jamie

Yep all repairable but if your paying someone else to do it will cost more then its worth. I just bought a welder, watched some youtube vids and did it myself with no experience. Really not that hard to do.

Good luck with that mate, like some have said, anything is repairable if you have the cash, you just have to decide if its worth it to you.

Take it that its a UK spec car??

Such a shame to see our cars like this :(

But keep your chin up anything can be fix. I have also seen alot worse on here :(
