Just fixed my zed and its now 100% since the blown plenum gasket i had;

 

So,

 

As you do i took her out for a spin 30 min ago; must say the power now was

simple amazing and the roar from the engine was bliss !

 

Heading up the A76 towards prestwick doing about 85 i overtake a few cars

on the left lane which i guess was doing about 65'ish and just as i start to

over take the first car -

 

F * L * A * S * H

 

From the rear quarter driver side somebody flashed me.

 

Now; what i would like to know was this a traffic cop type flash or could it

be just the average joe taking a nice pic as i flew past ?

 

I phoned my brother and he seems to thing i would have got pulled if it was

the traffic boys but i'm not so sure.

 

If you were on this road less than 30 min ago and eyeballed me with a flash

then fine; else aww foook !

Cant see it being police mate or you would of had blue lights next is there no gatso cameras on the road that you know of?

 

could more than likely be someone with a mobile taking a pic, but time will tell i guess :/

if youve ever set of a speed camera in teh dark before you will know theres no mistaking it. its bright usually theres two flashes aswel. tahts how they work out your speed time distance travel etc rember it from science....? secondly a patrol car WOULD pull you, they have onboard cameras but its like a video camera not like a normal speed camera, the third ooption if it was a mobile camera it wouldnt of flased i belive. it was probnally sum1s headlights probally sold busybody who thought your driving was a little excitable. in any even you will know within the next two weeks, i would say however from your description your probaly being paranoid

If its a traffic officer they have no power and they cant do anything, but knowing my luck times have changed lol!

Traffic cops r usually parked up at the airport roundabout, monkton roundabout and on shawfarm road. Not seen any cameras down that way except between Irvine and kilmarnock where it is a 50 limit on the dual carriageway. Lots of plane spotters down near the airport at times so they may have mistaken you for a ryanair!!!! :biggrin:

doesnt sound like a speed camera or police, they cant just take ur average speed from a moving vehicle, and if they do then youi can contest it in court so they wouldnt bother prosecuting for that unless you were going too fast.
