I've read that these keys are like gold dust...

Where can you get them from??

i think you can buy one from z1 motorsports but not sure. luckily i have one :D the other zed i had a nasty bad black one that it seemed like it had been chewed off lol !

I don't like your chances of getting hold of a blank one... well not for sensible money anyway and you'll be lucky if it's an original Nissan one....

I got mine with a full set of locks (so already cut)... just got to fit them now.... the ignition is a bit a s%&t to do as it has shear bolts that you have to undo....

i got all my original keys but dont think the titanium key are easy to get hold of anymore! if you stuck though here is a good bargain! key!

they are not made anymore you can not get hold of blank one her you may be lucky to pick up a lock set with one i have seen one for sale in the past three years good luck

As above - rare as hen's teeth to get unused blanks! Although I guess you could ask Mike at MJP if Nissan still supply them.

Otherwise the replacement lock kit is the way to go. That E-bay one is good value - alternatively ask JeffTT if he has any from his breakers.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I heard they are a bit of a pain, as the key is much harder than your ignition lock, so it wears the barrel out over time?.....

I've seen one or two on fle-bay since owning the Z... but we are talking once in a blue moon

Production and supply of the orignals stopped many years back, and the last stock was seling for a few hundred each !

Somebody is making replica's for about $100 , but I cant remember the name, Im sure I've linked them in the past if you want to search old posts.

still got the original titanium one! whoever pulls my keys out the hat will know they're in for something special :D

I had a titanium key with my Zed when I bought it....then some c*nt broke into m flat a few mths back and knicked it...along with half my flat! Now I've got a god awful black plastic job!

last time I looked the peope who suppied them needed an order of 100 or more ........

but no longer in production....

It would be nice to see a decent supplier of these but this must go through the proper path.

@ govaardz, This is something you would need to discuss in private with Brian (Z nut) our trade liason officer or start an enquiry thread for the same purpose, an attempt to promote or sell your goods without being a club trader and paying the required fee is against forum rules so the advertising post has been deleted, if this is also to involve another forum member then that should be done off the forum or again in private

Thanks

Chris
