hi guys recently i asked about my car being limited to 110 mph as it wont go higher than that when on the open road...

the other day i put the foot down in an open space and the speedo hit 240kmh wich obviously would be higher than 110mph

any ideas what the idea is with this?

Errrmmm yeah lol that would work out at just over 149 miles per hour i would say it is not limited ?

mine had a limit of 120 odd for some reason then i had a indercated 180 on the dash when chipped but sat nav said 167mph

Is your car a Uk spec or Import?

Imports are limited to 110-120 unless the ecu is chipped or the speedo has been de-resticted by using a different resister.

Im sure all uk spec are limited to 155

Im waiting to be corrected lol

When you say you put your foot down in an open space, you mean you put your foot down with the wheels of the ground?

Damo j, judging by your speedo (and most are the same) when you were doing "120" that would be your 112mph limit. Just an inaccurate speedo, as you saw with the speedo was saying 180 and your satnav was doing a more probably 167 :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

The car has a Nismo 300km/h speedo fitted? I guess it does 'cos stock goes to 180. In this case the ECU will have the limiter disabled, no reason why you would fit a 300k speedo if you weren't going to derestrict it.
