I asked Opie, and this is what he said...

Hi

I would use a 5w-40 synthetic and you will find those through the link below.

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs Supersyn and Mobil Synt S are good, cheaper alternatives.

As a budget choice, a 10w-40 will be fine and I would either go for the Fuchs XTR, Millers XSS or Motul 6100

You need a 75w-90 for the gearbox and diff*and here are the ones we have.

If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Motul Gear 300, Redline MT90 and Millers TRX are ideal for the gearbox. The Castrol Syntrax, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives. In the diff you need a GL5 oil, so any of those are fine, other than the Redline MT90, but the Redline 75w-90 GL5 is ideal for the diff.

i use Titan XTR 10-40.

get it from a local motor factors.

I think it's normally about 4 litres you need.

£15.83 for 5lts inc vat

I would only use the 5w-40 for the winter months and then change back to 10w-40 when the warmer weather come round again next year!
