Tis a sad day then...

Too bad you gotta sell it:thumbdown:

Hope you get a good price

Very sad. Didn't get all girly and cry but I could have!

Made sure I really gave it some beans up and down my favourite local roads before tucking him up for winter.

I wish I didn't have to sell up but my fairy godmother's on strike lol

Its a pig trying to buy a car without tax

Yup, of all the stupid ebay questions I get when selling, that stops more sales than anything else. :stupid:

It's fair enough though - no legal way to test drive unless you've got trade plates!

Sorry to hear you guys are either Sorn or selling.

12 months MOT and 6 months Tax is the biggest selling point when it comes to any car.

Sorry to hear you guys are either Sorn or selling.................

Likewise....

Jane - if you have to sell then I hope it goes quickly and for a good price. But do stick around - we've gotten used to you on the forums now.....

Joel - sorry about your job mate. I hope you find something soon.

Richard:flowers:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I hear what you're saying about the tax, but I had to tax the Lude this month, plus start on xmas, and I barely have enough money as it is so its SORNed til I can afford to tax it, which won't be this year

Cheers Richard, I'll stick around. I want someone to buy my car and join up so I can stalk Zedward after he's sold lol

Sorry to hear you selling up.

If a potential buyer likes your car then he or she would buy it regardless of whether it was taxed or not, tax to me is nothing and that certainly wouldn't put me off buying a car as long as it had a long mot.

The buyer would likely try to knock you down to cover the price of taxing it anyway, and then some.

Anyhoo, I say loose the Lude and get your Zed back on the road missus!

joel dont sell if you can try anything else first because if you have loved and cherished your zedward it will be hard to love another car again the same way whats more would you find a car as good again ive made the same mistake myself trust me nothing replaces them no matter how much you try!! :(

Thanks, its a case of needing the money for uni and a daily driver, Zedward isn't practical as a daily driver (SWB, 3 of us!!)

Its a lovely car, but its still not my perfect Zed - when I qualify I'm gonna get me a SWB manual twin turbo :tt1:

I agree re the tax, its not something that would put me off either.

I can't lose the Lude, its actually Marc's! And we need more than 2 seats in the car or else we can go anywhere as a family!!

just get a LWB manual TT, you can get 3 people in it then, and from out side the car it still looks like it has 2 seats, and now you have a zed, you will have the problem of "what the hell do i replace it with?"

I would if they weren't so thirsty and (don't all beat me!) unreliable

then I would def have one but for nursing, when I'm driving accross the entire county for placements, its gonna have to be a bit more eco than a TT and it absolutely has to get me where I need to go every day as you get b0ll0cked for missing placements! hoping to buy lil stevie's Honda Civic off him, if mine manages to sell - will put any surplus from the sale of mine into my uni fund then
