What are the general views ona matt black zed?

 

I sold my wheels to somebody with one, and when i first saw it i hated it (ive never liked matt balck). But the next day, if didn't offend me, and i kind of have the urge to do it to mine.

 

I want a proper respray once its all sorted (if it gets sorted), but for now shall i bother?

 

Next question, do they do a matt white???

mines painted in matt black mate, bought it like that and to be honest i cant wait to get it painted, it does looks different and i think it gives the car abit of a mean look which i liked wen i first got it but i noticed esp summer time wen i was parked nxt to the girlfreinds she must of just polished her cos it had a lovely deep shine and it made mine look shite, on the plus side any scratches or anything and its 3 quid a tin quick blast ova and its good as new

If you gna do a matte black, do it right.... i know one done perfectly and the guys who done it if you like to know more pm me.

Hate matt cars. To me it always looks like its been in for a respray and you ran out of money after the primer has gone on and your having to drive about in an unfinished car.

I feel a bit like you (Big Jim) in that I am not sure. I think I am going to go for a vinyl wrap because it's easier if I change my mind!

A good mate of mine has a bodyshop.

It doesn't cost me the earth to have a full respray....

yeh trust me my mates car looks like the batmobile now, especially with the wide body kit. the matte black allows every curve and line to be seen

my accord was matte black cost £20 all in.when its done well it looks fantastic

wasnt really a honda any more it had so much done to it the engine wasnt even from an accord

I'm about to under-go a cheeky respray in Matte-Black. You really cant equal the anger/slick look it gives the zed!!

ive seen the new alfas in matt grey/silver looks awesome. i always liked the idea of a matt black zed tho like this one.

Matt, not my cup off tea but can look good done right, but that linked one is awful !

Most of the body panels don't line up and it looks badly put together.

The wheels are pretty nice, but the stretched tyres look awful ... oh well, each to his own etc ;)
