I dont, i did do for the past 3 years but ive spent so much i dont want o get her ruined over the winter months grrrrr

I originally used my red ZX as a daily drive until late 2004....

.....then I changed jobs and, until I moved house, I was driving it over 50 miles a day. I did not want to ruin a nice low mileage example so the ZX was relegated to a weekend toy. And the blue one continues like that today - although I only drive 22 miles a day now....

I do keep it taxed and insured all year though as the urge to drive it cannot be supressed!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I drive every day, although its only a whopping 2 miles to work! (hence why i can afford to run a twin turbo :D)

although if it snows i'll walk. dont fancy that again!

It does get a decent motorway or A road blast on a fairly regular basis mind - although id still say under 6000 miles a year easy.

My current one is just a toy which is now off the road until next year, but my last 2 Zeds were daily drivers.

I ruined a concours condition Sierra Xr4x4 by using it for work - it rusted to bits in the space of 3 yrs. Went to jack it up one day and pushed the jack through the floor:blushing:

On the other hand, I used my Skyline everyday (I was running the Sierra and Skyline together for about a yr) and had no problems - I was putting about 20k a year on it though, so not really a great idea. It did end up looking a little tired after 4yrs - mainly due to other :censored: denting or scratching it.

I'm not going to spoil my Zed though.. Most of my journeys in the Zed are A-A not A-B, but I do like a long cruise when the chance arrises. I would avoid running it on salty roads, definitely - even if it is undersealed.

I have a works van and my girlfriends car at my disposal tho, so the Zed is an extravagant luxury really. Don't think my pockets are deep enough to run one all year round  which is a shame

hardly use mine . approx 10 miles a week . not used her now for a couple of weeks . once i get a couple of issues sorted im hoping to use her a little more . less than a 1000 miles in her last 12 months .

I use mine only when I want to, that is when the weather is good. It does not see any salty roads and very rarely a wet road. And it doesn't do any chores, shopping or other.

I have a little run about and a work Van for everything else.

Probably

Mine is purely for a bit of fun....i drive it at night usually...those cool brisk dry evenings we all crave...

I said no. I would but I work from home mainly. Living in Milton Keynes also means that most drives to get anywhere are barely long enough for the engine to warm up, so the Z only gets used for longer trips or if I just fancy going for a drive (which happens a lot )

I said yes because its my only car at the moment but im in the market for an old banger to zip around in as im planning on taking it off the road until May next year. Otherwise yes its my daily driver

It's my daily drive, i commute (weekly) from Torbay to Cardiff, great on the motor way...

when I'm at home I often use my wife's pajero...

However don't need much of an excuse to use the Z'd. :)

Does this mean you be able to attend a Welsh meet now and again?

Diesel boring as anything 4 door fiesta for the daily which people always drive up my arse and try and race me in.

Zed for fun times, funnily enough I never have that problem in the TT?!?!?!
