i've built myself a wee cctv system to catch exactly this, planning on installing next

week to cover my two zeds, theres plenty of wee buggers round my area that would

do this too just for fun.

i had a bunch of cars done to me when i had a garage. only 2 weeks after opening, i was gutted.

I know the police are generally as much use as tits on fish, but if you don't report the crime then you might not be doing yourself a favour..

 

I was having problems with little scrotes on my estate - same type of thing, acts of jealousy aimed at my few posessions. At first I got frustrated but didn't do anything, but as time went on it got more serious until someone actually tried to kick my door in (burgalry). Fortunately, I had reported most of what had happened. In the end I was so fed up with the little toss bags that I wrote a letter to my MP saying how she-ite I thought the police were in my area. This kicked up quite a stink - I had letters from all kind of authorities, offering advice and help. And now... unbelievably... you can actually see a police presence on our streets, not tucked behind a desk filling in forms for safe truncheon operation..

 

In the end I got high profile CCTV cameras fitted that glow (infra) red at night. Since then I've had no problems at home..

 

That said, I took the girlfriends car to ASDA the other day and guess what? Came back to the car to find someone had keyed that too. Missus was gutted, but what can you do? One day, just one day - you'll catch one of the little scrotes doin something - and then you'll be the one who goes to prison for GBH or murder..:hammer:

 

There really is no justice in this country for decent, honest folk..

have a ring around mate, see if anyone has opened a body shop around your area recently? they might be trying to "generate" more work.

probally kids in all honesty, you got an alley in your culdesac that goes elsewhere? might be worth popping round a few of the neighbours and explaining whats happened, and to watch out for their cars also. makes it look like your being friendly and nieghbourly but you may get more outta it than a smile.

Little ****s, they did the same to my car when i first got it. Cost me an arm and a legg to get fixed, and if you look at the car in a certain light you can still see the marks :(. I really hope you catch the person mate please make sure the **** wont ever do it again.

Gutted for you mate. I've had this happen to me with a previous car so know how you feel. I'm not one for violence but if i'd have got hold of the little fockers i'd have broken everyone of their robbing/vandalising fingers. Unfortunately the way this country is, the lowlife scum have no respect for someones hard earned property/possesions. Instead of admiring the fact somebody has worked hard to be able to afford a nice house/car etc. and look upon it with respect they choose to take their jealousy out on the honest, hard working people amongst us who get up every day and work our nuts off to be able to have nice things. Really makes my blood boil.
