Something Ive wanted to do for ages and now after a bit of saving up and a few light taps with a lump hammer I've got the new lights in. Love the look, the only slight downside is the peachy-coloured indicators, but I can live with that! :D

These are the genuine article too, so my old 89-spec ones will be up for sale soon, once I can be bothered to clear all the liquorice sealant off them!! :online2long:

Looks stunning, what make is your rear spoiler?

Your arse end is looking nice Dave!! ;)

Thanks both! It's a Viper spoiler mate.

Good choice Dave, was a great looking car before but looks even better now thanks to that :D

I lusted after a 99 spec arse end before i bought the V8 and left at the chance when Keith had his lights up for sale while i was over there.

I think i left with £1500 worth of stuff in the end

The 99 spec make sooo much difference and modern looking, your whole car looks fab!!!

I,m reverting back to standard lights but i,ve ordered those crystal ones from america , personally i think they actually look better than 99,s.

I,ve got to say Dave your car is stunning , that pic from the front looks the dogs dangleys :bow::bow:

Looking good mate. Both the lights and the car, very nice indeed.

thanks for the comments all - really helps make it all worth it (the whole thing - not just swapping out the rear lights!) - I think the 99 spec rears really freshen the car up and bring it right into the, err, 90's!

Nick - I left his with almost half that, lol! It's a shame the Wilwoods wouldn't fit the discs I'd bought, but it's all part of the game isn't it!

Leo - you never run out of things to do with a Z mate! or in my case I get Jeff to do most of it :o :D

i'd like to see those crystal ones Al! sounds intriguing!

Looks superb matey, well done. You cannot beat a 99 rear light convo.

Al.

Looks fantastic. You can really notice the quality of genuine items like yours to the fakes, and the crystal ones are just plain nasty.

Looks great Dave......

Very nice mate:thumbup:It is the best improvment you can do to the zeds rear:yes:

Fully agree - one of the simplest but most effective modifications for a 300zx!!

Richard:chef:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
