If it's a 'creaky ' sound Bri,could be the release fork(if fitted) on the pivot, the slave p/rod into the fork or the cover itself..............

does it give feedback through the pedal , feels like the vibration on a mobile phone and does it sound like a mild goose honk but very quick and low

Sure its not your knees?! hehe

Joking aside Brian it does sound like the fork creaking, sometimes the force of disengaging a new clutch can cause some creak whereas on the tired old one it never.

makes sense young James but it changes tone related to rpm...begining to think the best one went in the skip:huh:

Sounds like release bearing, I just helped my mate refit his land rover box after his new clutch ( 3 weeks old ) failed, the bearing which was a bit noisey when it was first fitted seized up altogether and melted the holder for it all for the sake of a good bearing :hammer:
