Had my tracking set up by laser,Had it checked three times now ,and didn't need any adjustment, all my tires or the same size and inflated to the correct pressure , cant see any play in the bushes and the power steering is all topped up , so what might be causing it to pull to th right , on level roads as well as camber roads.

No complete over haul on the calipers .Plus new shocks all round .

Sounds like you still hace too much 'Toe out' set up. If you are physically being pulled (Front only, not crabbing) with no input on the steering then one of your wheels is set up wrong. Wheel balancing should not effect Toe in-toe out as it is there to compensate for variations of weight in the wheel and tyre when mated together.

Is it the same garage that you have used three times? If so, I would take it back to who ever did the tracking and ask to be shown the process as they do it and ask where they are getting there set-up figures from as all cars are different, although there are a lot that are common (the garage could of used one of these settings). You can get the settings off the net or from Nissan.

Yep the same place , they don't have the import N/A speck they used the UK TT set up ,could that be the reason

Is the car on standard suspension? Are the shocks and springs ok? I'll try and get a good link for the tracking figures.

Could this problem be any thing to do with the anti roll bar bushes , just replaced my brake lines , and noticed the the bushes looked a bit tired ?

Id get the tracking figures then take it somewhere else personally, some people seem to have no pride in there work and just stand under the car tapping suspension parts with a spanner to make it look like they are doing it. seen this done a few times at kwik fit.

The company i used is a well known place that only does tires and tracking , and performance cars go there ,so could it be they haven't the settings for the import ,they did say they have done it by the uk spec the uk speck had larger rear wheels ?

get the jap spec settings, explain it to them that its still pulling to the left and ask them to see if the jap spec match up to the UK spec. so far you have paid for tracking and they even admit they didnt have the correct settings.

Have you got a printout you can upload? Cross camber adjustment can cause pulling even though the figures may be in spec. If you have a printout scan it & upload it & I will take a look.

A tyre worn out of shape will cause this also & is not always obvious on a first visual inspection - swap the tyres side to side to see if this changes how it drives.

Hi Shaun,

Yup - your cross camber is way out:

You have -1deg 36min camber on the left & -0deg 30min on the right.

The increased amount of negative camber on the left hand front wheel will have the effect of pushing the front of the car to the right.

you also have a lot less caster on the right front wheel - I suspect something may be slightly bent to cause this amount of difference.

Theres not too much you can do without adjustable arms to bring it into spec or start replacing suspension arms on the front right.

Thanks very much for that , can you tell me the parts to get ordered ,cant go to the price of tein stuff , lost on what to get LOL

and also ta to Vodkashots, spot on mate.

Hi Shaun,

These will allow for camber & caster adjustment: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=44302

Or you could try getting some stock upper & lower arms/tension rod to see if the figures come in - in theory it could also be the hub but this would be less likely (but does happen LOL).

This would be cheaper but you are relying on them being straight if you get second hand parts.

was the engine running when you had it tracked ? i had mine done with engine running and it was shite , went back and turned the engine off and it was fine . with the engine running everytime they adjusted the front the hicas was kicking in and knocking the back out .
