Surely no-one's car is 'perfect'... so spill the beans and tell us all what problems your Z currently has - big or small :cursing::cursing:

Do not include servicing and basic maintenance, or bodywork issues.

We may even be able to help each other if someone has a problem that you've had before, or vice versa.

Currently - my gearbox is whining and making funny crunching noises occasionally... I have a replacement sat in the garage along with a Z1 Lightweight Flywheel & Exedy Paddle Clutch ;)

My car 'winks' when you flash the headlights, so that needs sorting (bulb is ok) ;)

Central locking doesn't unlock the passenger door, but it does have an old clifford alarm that I think came off Noah's Ark

My effing headlights STILL won't work!!!!

New bulbs - nada. Can here the relay clickin on and off but no light. Lil Stevie v kindly took apart my light stalk on Sat night and gave it a good clean out, not that there was any signs of arcing or indeed any malfunction.

Time to get the volt meter out and start tracing the cables back !

I had similar problems in my old vw bora, ended up being a fault in the fuse holder !

time to employ someone to do that!! I don't own a voltmeter, wouldn't know where to start! I make it shiny and drive it fast, that's where my relationship with my zed ends lol. Got the numer of a sparky from ym mechanic so I'll give him a shout (after pay day)
