Surely no-one's car is 'perfect'... so spill the beans and tell us all what problems your Z currently has - big or small :cursing::cursing:

Do not include servicing and basic maintenance, or bodywork issues.

We may even be able to help each other if someone has a problem that you've had before, or vice versa.

Currently - my gearbox is whining and making funny crunching noises occasionally... I have a replacement sat in the garage along with a Z1 Lightweight Flywheel & Exedy Paddle Clutch ;)

My car 'winks' when you flash the headlights, so that needs sorting (bulb is ok) ;)

Central locking doesn't unlock the passenger door, but it does have an old clifford alarm that I think came off Noah's Ark

Turbos for me they really need changing even tho they're newish, but i dont like the smoke it does when its idle !

the backboxes leak a bit aswell so thinking about changing the exhaust also.

Mine is hesitation at wide open throttle and only happens at 60mph + and when i have foot down hard afted 6 seconds. guessing its fuel related. Othee problem is mileage meter sropped working. Had these since getting car over a year ago and not being able to overtake is driving me insane :)

The Annoying thing is NO-ONE has been able to solve the hesitation that is only present on WOT. but Darren at D2 in on the case and i hope he is able to diagnose what is wrong

Autogear box fault no drive, lots of smoke out the back but engine running sweet.

But the body is very very good for a 1991 zed.

fook of a petrol leak (injectors)

Few rear bushes/hicas to fix

Raise the car about an inch. fitted a big rad, with the weight of it and the water. my plastic front arches ae sat ontop of the tyres. it phisically can go no lower

slight noise when sat in car and in neutral (manual), press the clutch and it goes away, new clutch and thrust bearing less than 100 miles ago, so not that, and a bit of crunch going from first to 2nd, but not from any other gear to 2nd :( and my mum cries when i press the pedal on the right...

The interior re-trim i did has started to lift, i guess i should have used better glue.

Running like a dream to be honest, happy days. :punk:

loose turbo pipe - should be easy fix as it's happened before, just haven't got the room to work underneath at the mo. :o

puffs of blue smoke now and then on overrun.

touch wood they're the biggest ones...

oh and on the interior theme - one of the small panels i did has started to lift, but the other panels I paid someone else to do have remained intact!

Seized Turbo,

Creaks at the back, which I am going to look into next week (again lol)

Idles to 2000 when I put into park (auto) but I adjusted the base idle right in for a quick fix last week.

But it gets me from A to B :)

snap

cambelt, heater matrix and O/S hicas arm being replaced at zed world now.

Sound like first motion shaft bearing to me mate

nothing major.....i think, had a few faults but sorted them 1 by 1 (usual stuff like ptu etc) but MOT time came and went needed to remove hicas, change zorst and cats, and centre bearing while they off. Then see what they tell me it needs maybe something on the front steering, oh and really gotta replace the tyre with that bloody slow puncture
