Right, this month we are going to have a bit of fun and not meet and the halfway house and will instead attend a Test and Tune day on the 5th September at North Weald air field, near Harlow. Its £10 for entry and £20 to run 1/4 mile,as many times as you like,early start advised.

Yassa, what time are you going to this, if it's not to early we could meet at the esso garage on the A2.

hi mate, i could meet you at the ESSO at about 8 am. i am meeting nick at his so we can get there for about 9.30 so we can book our cars in for a run up the track,:scooter:

Just a bit of info to stop disappointment of getting there and not being able to run

Gates open at 8.30 for signing on and runs start at 10.00

 

The drag runs are limited to the first 200 vehicles ( cars and bikes) so if want to run need to get there early to register for unlimited runs

 

Mr F has arranged for a Z only parking area in the pits so when you get there make sure you tell them you are heading for an official area within the pits and look for the Pennants marking the area or you will end up in the public car park

 

Also If you want to run here make sure you have your driving licence and a crash helmet regardless of what speed you car can go as they unlike the pod require use of a crash helmet

 

There is also catering and drinks available and a small bar

Is it light at that time of day lol, going to a James Bond themed party tonight so not sure if I will make that time, you could call in there on the way pass but if I'm not there don't hang around for me.

yes mate looking forward to it, cheers for the vid,we have got trouble with our computer so cannot put any vids up,

my best time was 14.06 and 108mph, not great but its not really ideal for sprints,a bit heavy etc but still fun all the same.:wheelchair:
