with so many obscure names on this site i just wondered how people came to have them. obviously some are just using their name but some aren't.

 

mine started because by day i was a mild mannered reporter but at night i donned latex and a cape and saved the city from criminals!! :lol:

 

No not really! I mine is just a nickname that started back in my karting days and it seemed to stick with me. Don't think it helped that i have been a bit of a rogue in my past either with the occasional dust up around town! :shifty::shifty:

i've been with ADL racing for years so ...(ADL)

 

and my names Ash, and i managed to set fire to my old 200sx whilst driving to a show, after repairing it at the side of the road and then taking it round the track later the same day, the car got the nickname the phoenix, and it stuck.

agl are my initials, and 89 was the year I was born. simples :p

Being very sophisticated, I named myself after a cartoon dog!! It was one of my fave programmes when I was younger.

Well about 10 years ago when i started to use motoring forums , i needed a username, i had a Silver Honda civic 1.4i with a stunning 90bhp on tap, but at the time it was as fast a bullet to me , so i came up with Silverbullitt as i liked the movie Bullitt.

Got really drunk on my 28th birthday and got it tattooed on my leg, so i'm guessing i'm stuck with it
