Hello every1,

my car is being painted and i asked them to lose the bubbly rear spoiler,

now im left with a bit missing,

problem is dont want the black strip as i have lambo style rear lights fitted and want it all white and smoothed in,

seen a couple of zx where they have smoothed it in,

and i quite like the look,

how is this done do you weld a plate in as if it was all filler would it crack or sink a bit,

any help appreciated,

thank you,

You buy the same perspex strip as the de-spoilered cars and simply get it sprayed!

Ask Mike Feeney in the traders section. The Z centre also sells the strip; but he's not a trader on here; plus IIRC Luke is on holidays until mid-August. So MJP is your best bet!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i like lambo lights makes it look better lol

 funniest thing I've heard this week.

Never seen a lambo with lights anywhere near that. Ferrari maybe.

I think they only look good if you go for the smoothed rear lip spoiler and a notch back glass replacement to kinda make it into a half arsed Ferrari effort.

Not for me i like the Z lights as they are....and never do half arsed ;) each to there own though like marmite you either love it or cant stand it

Anyway guys, this thread isnt about Terry's lights.

Hi

I had my tailfin removed and a plate was welded in place

i have tried to put a picture up but no joy, i'll find a way.

i'll send you some pictures by e-mail if you still need to see some pics

Think Paul's suggestion was the best. Get the smooth lip spoiler from Zcentre.

Oh :hammer::smartass:

Maybe this one as i'm still learning

Looks rather strange, like it's had something removed or is missing something rather than a de-spoilered tailgate. Tidy job though.

I've got lambo lights on the front, is that OK?

I see what you mean, FunkySi,

the rear does look a bit naked. The brake light is gone and so is the black panel that finishes off the top of the tail lights. The plan is to have another fin fitted but not right now as i'm searching for an absolute bargain, i can tell you that it looks better now than the holes that were there when i fist brought it.

I was toying with the idea of having the rear wiper upgraded to a more beefier looking type or totally removed....what's your opinion. I also want to get rid of the aerial and have that smoothed over.

lol.. No you don't. Lambo's have zed lights at the front :sailor:

i got mine from carmad,

And looks the nuts top quality too, and great price, look up carmad, and send him a pm, say JJ sent you

good luck
