mine sits around 82 to 86c even whilst driving a little keen so yes its more efficient than the original.i got mine from 2fast 2 cool....lee

dont know about ebay ones i got a koyo and its mega!

dan.

to be fair a ebay one will cost you in region of £150 for a little more £165 i think now dan at dta can supply you one which uses a koyo core know which i spent my money on, not sure if he ordered more than just mine but i know mine is due in early next week so maybe worth giving dan a call

zcentre and most places on web do not have stock of aftermarket rads as of last week and the 2 places in china that ebay sell had them but would you want to send a rad back to china if faulty?

I have go one off ebay and it looks really good to me. Welds etc look good and not crude.mine is made by Toyo and came in a proper box etc (well packaged)

it dosnt look cheap in any way. and i got mine for £80 delivered on an auction that finished mid day when the football was on

Re the pin holes i have only heard madmax had the problem and it could of been a one off. he was also running very very hot so the presure in the system would of been huge

I have an ASI rad from e-bay, massive spec, fitted over 3 years ago, for a great price, and no problems.

Al.

Let's be fair it's a bit of an unjust, bold statement to say that all e-bay radiators are shite

That's a bit of a generalisation in my opinion

Some of the cheaper tat are constructed from poor quality materials but at the same time a lot of them are quite reasonable quality for the money

Of course there's an element of risk buying a cheapo' rad from China but that's not to say that for normal day to day use, where the car isn't being thrashed, the cheap rad might hold up just fine (as stated already)

Not to mention that there are plenty of decent 'used' rads on ebay (the TOYO rad mentioned previously for example)

TOYO (not to be mistaken for KOYO) do make decent kit, in fact a lot of 4x4's use them

and before that statement gets slated, the wagons that run TOYO rads generally live a harsh existance in hot sandy climates; Oman, Saudi and Afghan for example and they run just fine

just my 2p worth
