Now that Goodyear have stopped production of the almighty Eagle F1's and their successor isnt nearly as good (according to rumors)

 

what tyres would you guys recommend for 18" rims all 8j size ?

The Successor, the F1 asymmetrics , is better than the old F1's from everything I read !

You've heard wrong there mate!!

 

The new Goodyear Asymetric F1 has notched up some superb reviews; in fact, in stringent magazine tests the top two tyres by miles are the new Goodyears and the Conti Sport Contact 3. I have the Goodyears on my Z and ther are awesome!! Although not cheap, I can't put a price on safety...

 

One tester, after putting the goodyears on a Merc C-class 350, compared it to "putting turbos on the car" for the improved lap time he got with them on; and grip in the wet is just excellent. A necessity in a 300zx...

toyo proxis are really good but dont last that long and also falken452's there spot on with my set up
