Well, started at 11am today washing the car, then used the meguiars set i purchased with vouchers i recieved last year for halfords.

So the car recieved a top clean with every part of the car being worked on with the clay bar, then i waxed the car after using the meguiars wax to try and seal in all the hard work i done, took me around 4 hours, then i fitted the alloys aswell.

The clay bar is fantastic!! Alot of hard work to do the full car but i was so happy with the results so my beaming red face dripping with sweat under the hot sun was smiling from ear to ear.

Removed all the small tar marks hard worked in grit etc, so i fully recommend the meguiars clay bar kit, but as i said you need to go abit gung ho i think and put alot of effort in.

Oviously as you can see they are not new alloys but hey.......they are new 2 this car. I dont want to keep them on as im still waiting on a set to come up for sale that i cant resist.

what use think folks, i would say you can really see in the photos how good the clay bar has worked.

Nice work and love the wheels I say keep them! Lucky me found a set of 18" blitz 3 piece split rims for 500quid on eBay with good tyres not too long ago, well happy with them

if the blitz are nice and have a deep dish i will swop you.lol!

Haha nooo chance there is a set in the for sale section for 2 grand, like new though, mine could do with a refurb but still look the dogs squishy bits, and yep rears are 18x10 with a nice dish

davew had a set of blitz alloys the same as liam for next to nowt (think he wanted a set of wheels to trade his car on the scrappage scheme on) and no one took him up on the offer

if the blitz are nice and have a deep dish i will swop you.lol!

Looking good Craig....

....and I reckon Blitz wheels will really suit your car. You know, Jaffa has a brand new set for sale at only £2k so I reckon you should go for it!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

If I had seen I would have bought them for spare bits! 600+quid for a rear wheel!! Unless I did buy em because they were from a breakers?

I'd go for the Blitz wheels. Not sure they suit your car. You need a track slag stance to pull those off. They are a nice wheel....just on the wrong car.

Yeah I don't like the Rotas that much, but I certainly don't like the blitz enough to pay 2k.lol!

Been out and felt the paint, still silky smooth!

Think the body on the car looks amazing, I will get the wheels sorted one day to compliment the bodywork.

I assume they are your old wheels back then Craig?

Is Vodkashots still alive?!

Looking good mate, you clearly put a good afternoons work in there. Nice and shiny. :thumbup1:

I like those wheels, but i think they would look better on a dark grey or perhaps a black car. :whistling:

Certainly was worth the wait.

Yeah its my old wheels and they are still for sale pablito, just not know I need to locate some nice ones I like.

I would Love top head across ossian.lol. but Im busy the next 3 weeks.

So glad I have people saying its nice, makes it alittle more worth while doing it all day.

Looks real well Craig. Well done and I do like the wheels too.

I know you are going mad looking for a 99spec front bumper, but if its any consolation, I think the dark tache which the older spec bumper looks the business on your car.
