Hey Folks,

For the ones of you that are lucky enough to have garages to keep your cars in; what is the ideal size garage that is needed to fit the car in and also to allow you to get out? The misses and I have been looking at houses and all the garages I have seen have been quite pathetic, probably big enough to get a smart car in and comfortably manage to get out of. Obviously the bigger the better but the minimum comfortably required would be handy :)

It seems like the older the house the bigger the garage!

Cheers,

Dave.

Can someone edit the title to something that represents the text please, my laptop had a spazzy 5 mins :)

;)

My garage is 8'6" wide and it's pretty comfortable to get in and out if the car is parked with passenger side near to the other wall. Bit of foam on the driver's side wall to stop the door from getting damaged and all's good.

Hopefully moving soon to a house with 28'3" x 9'9" garage (fingers crossed) :D

My garage is 10'6" wide, 22" long. The car fits with enough room to open the drivers side door. Until.......... the tool chest goes back in along with all my other car related media and spares. Get a double just for the Zed or move ya missus into the garage and put a garage door on your lounge. LOL:smartass:

im still building mine the now just about done though its about 20ft long and 14ft wide think that should be big enough for the zed lol

Dont want to boast but just measured mine and its 84 feet x15 feet and is divided in two with the zed in the small half which is 27feet long:thumbup1:and the other half is full of furniture and junk and have trouble getting the lawnmower out:no:I need a clear out:lol:
